Urban planners continue to seek innovative solutions for transporting people and goods and clever ways to bring more green into the urban grid. Today's planners are more likely than their predecessors to address these problems in ways that also sustain natural resources and stall global climate change. Throughout the Chicago region, numerous projects take up these challenges. Many are underway; others offer models for the future.
