Make Big Plans: Burnham's Vision of an American Metropolis

Exhibit :

The Northbrook Public Library will host "Make Big Plans: Daniel Burnham’s Vision of an American Metropolis" an exhibit hosted by the Newberry Library commemorating Daniel Burnham and Edward Bennett's 1909 Plan of Chicago.  The exhibit emphasizes the Plan’s relevance to metropolitan development through the 20th century and into the future using photographic reproductions of stunning images from the plan and other sources.  The Northbrook Library is one of over 50  venues throughout the metropolitan region that will host the exhibit which is a focal point of the Centennial.
