The Burnham Memorial is a celebration of the collective achievement of all those who, like Daniel Burnham, have dedicated themselves to planning – and realizing – an ever better future for the city of Chicago. Surrounded by the achievement it commemorates, a life-size statue of Burnham directs attention towards the city – showcasing his vision by connecting visitors to its vibrant, unfolding reality.
