Douglas Park Olympic Velodrome

A permanent velodrome and temporary BMX facility use green assemblies to integrate the building within the historic park while maximizing environmental performance. The structure emulates nature with a cellular honeycomb. An undulating plaza consists of hard- and soft-scapes with vegetation flowing from the ground onto the skin of the arena.
