Conserving Native Landscapes in the Metropolis

Exhibit :

Frank V. Dudley: Conserving Native Landscapes in the Metropolis: an Exhibition of twelve Paintings of Burnham Park, Jackson Park, and the Indiana Dunes.

Frank Dudley spent forty years of his professional life as a landscape painter to promote and preserve the Indiana Dunes. Along with fellow Cliff Dwellers Daniel H. Burnham and Jens Jensen, they advocated for the Forest Preserves surrounding Chicago.

An Opening Reception with Dudley’s biographer, James R. Dabbert will be held, Wednesday, March 4 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The Cliff Dwellers will soon announce other Dudley programs.
