2009 will be a big year for the Chicago region. The 100th anniversary of Daniel Burnham and Edward Bennett’s 1909 Plan of Chicago will be celebrated through numerous events. Get a jump-start on the celebration by joining us “on the eve of the centennial” for a provocative look at what this monumental planning legacy has meant for the planning profession and the region…and what Burnham and Bennett might have done differently had they undertaken this effort today.
