Please join us at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) as we build on the momentum of the 2009 Burnham Plan Centennial to launch bold new plans for the region's future.
At this very special kick-off, you'll be the first to receive a copy of the CMAP's preferred Regional Scenario, the last major policy publication before the draft GO TO 2040 comprehensive seven-county plan itself is issued in June 2010. The preferred Regional Scenario will describe the policies upon which the detailed plan will be based.
Months before the final GO TO 2040 plan will be published in October 2010, you can help CMAP shape an aggressive implementation campaign to persuade decision makers, residents and stakeholder groups. Throughout 2010 and beyond, you will be the first to hear about all the latest GO TO 2040 developments. CMAP will convene quarterly programs for you and other planning activists.
We look forward to your continued help and engagement!
