Chicago actor RJ Lindsey portrays Daniel H. Burnham, the famed architect, narrating with slides key events in his life, such as the Chicago fire of 1871and the opportunities it afforded him and his partner John Root; his work on the 1893 Columbian Exposition and on the 1909 Plan of Chicago. Burnham also discusses his innovative buildings: Montauk, Monadnock, Reliance, and the Rookery Building. He asks the question for 1909 and for Chicago's future: “How are we living?
