Community residents are welcomed to attend two panel discussions exploring the legacy and implications of the Burnham and Bennett plan, with a special focus on the Edgewater and Rogers Park communities. The first panel focuses on ecological issues, and the second on planning issues.
Speakers include Loyola faculty and as well as representatives of Friends of the Park, the Illinois State Geological Survey, and Chicago 2020. The panels are sponsored by the Urban Studies Program and the Sociology Department of the Loyola to provide a forum for public education and discussion on topics important to the future of the region.
