Dream Train for Kids

Dream Train for Kids

Hop on the Dream Train! In conjunction with the "Interurban Trains & Tourism" exhibit, children are invited to design their own fantastic version of train transportation. While grown-ups attend the "Duneland Escape" presentation in the gallery, kids can participate in this fun workshop that will stimulate their imagination in the NIPSCO Art Education Studios. Children, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends can all join in on the fun.

Admission: Free to LCA members and $3 for non-members.

This program is in conjunction with "Interurban Trains & Tourism", which is part of the Burnham Plan Centennial. The Lubeznik Center joins hundreds of other organizations as a program partner in this wide-spread event during 2009. The Burnham Plan Centennial celebrates the Bold Plans and Big Dreams that shaped metropolitan Chicago for the past century and challenges our region’s communities, leaders and institutions to build on the success of the Burnham Plan and act boldly together to shape our future.
