River and lake travel routes are proposed according to current and expected transit needs in the area from North Avenue to Chinatown along the branches of the Chicago River and including lakefront stops on both the South and North Sides. The boat-based transportation will be sustainable, low-carbon, and encourage public space development through numerous Chicago neighborhoods.
