Linear Corridor Park

A future Chicago with smaller, multi-fuel cars allows linear corridor parks along rapid transit lines and highways that radiate outward from the city. Green roofs arch the rail lines. Landscaped pedestrian bridges link parks adjacent to highways. Tall wind turbines line the center median and smaller ones are built into the barriers between the trains and autos; the turbines are turned by passing cars and trains and produce power for the urban grid.
