360 Degree City (Navy Pier)
An addition to Navy Pier creates a bridge to a new park on the water filtration plant site. The building is a dynamic form inspired by the ripple effect of dripping water. The ground level includes restaurants, clubs, and retail, surrounding a central open space. Several levels above are dedicated to office space. Top levels for residential use maximize the views to the city and the lake. By connecting the pier to the water filtration plant and bringing a residential use to the pier, the design generates a 360° city that will energize the pier year round.
