The abandoned raised rail bed of the Bloomingdale Line is conceived as a new neighborhood landmark that produces food and hydrogen for the surrounding community. A 10-acre greenhouse marks the trail, shelters the crops, and produces hydrogen with sun and water as catalysts. Storage of the gas is safely tucked within the mass of the existing infrastructure.
