Circle Square

The Plan of Chicago rendered the site of Chicago's Circle Interchange as the physical and symbolic center of the city. This proposal seeks to re-establish the site as a new urban public space, a center for business and commerce, and a new automobile gateway into downtown Chicago. The interchange will become an urban business-zone that provides high-speed train commuters with meeting facilities, hotel rooms, markets, and entertainment.
