ArtScape

The project energizes the city grid by introducing organic swaths of functional public ways, permeating the environment with art. Places of creation, reflection, and investigation occur as part of everyday life. Bikes and pedestrians follow great curvilinear sweeps, relaxing the grid with rhythmic concourses. Citizens meander leafy boulevards of color, patterns, and textures.
