U.S. GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL - CHICAGO CHAPTER

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community of leaders working to make green buildings available to everyone within a generation. The Chicago Chapter has more than 1,600 members who represent the spectrum of Chicagoland’s green building community, from real estate professions, architects, engineers and designers to contractors, product manufacturers, state and local government officials, home builders and homeowners. USGBC’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED® provides a roadmap for measuring and documenting success for every building type and phase of a building lifecycle.
