Skokie Public Library serves one of the most diverse communities in the United States, with 42 percent of residents foreign-born and 97 languages spoken in Skokie homes. The library embraces the diversity of its community and has come to be an essential part of the Skokie community, offering visitors numerous opportunities to interact and learn.
