RIVER FOREST PUBLIC LIBRARY

Established in 1905, the River Forest Public Library is now part of the shared Suburban Library System catalog SWAN. Traditional library programs such as our fireside chats, storytimes, and summer reading programs are still popular, however, we continue to develop and expand our program offerings, providing special programs for children such as our popular annual Family Fireside Halloween program, our Teen Comics Club, and the addition of computer classes. Modern library resources offered include computers, DVD’s,  Kindles and iPods.
