The mission of the Addison Public Library is to provide informational, cultural, and educational resources and services to the residents of Addison. The library provides access to a broad range of materials and services to meet the present and future needs of the community it serves. In this effort the Addison Public Library cooperates with other libraries and educational, cultural, community, and governmental agencies and institutions. The Addison Public Library is pleased to host the Make Big Plans: Burnham's Vision of an American Metropolis exhibit from June 15 - September 30, 2009 after which time it will travel to other local venues.
