The 1909 Plan of Chicago left an indelible legacy for Chicago. This 100th Anniversary year has inspired thousands of people to examine its imprints on our regional landscape and to dream big about our region's future. The 2009 Festival of the Humanities pays tribute to the Burnham Plan Centennial with three programs:
Think Big Youth Expo

Bold Plans for the Next 100 Years

Adele Simmons, vice chair of Chicago Metropolis 2020, moderates a panel of visionary designers and thinkers providing an exciting look into an imaginative future. [MORE]
The Future of Chicago: How We Get There
2:30 - 4:00pm
WBEZ's Steve Edwards moderates a panel considering solutions to questions about housing, education, transportation and the environment in and around Chicago. [MORE]
