QUAD COMMUNITIES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

Quad Communities Development Corporation (QCDC) was founded in 2003 by local leaders including 4th Ward Ald. Toni Preckwinkle. It has recruited an active board of directors and hired a New Communities Program director, whose primary responsibility is to manage the quality-of-life planning process and to implement the programs and projects that are part of the community plan. In 2008, QCDC became the Sole Service Provider of Special Service Area #47 to assist in cleaning, beautifying and revitalizing the Cottage Grove and 47th Street Retail Corridors.

QCDC is honored to be one of six Chicago neighborhoods participating in the Burnham Plan Centennial Bold Plans. Big Dreams Community Showcase Tours program
