Calling all Girls and Boys!  Have you thought about being an architect? Well, here is your chance! We are participating in the Burnham Centennial Event by hosting the Be Creative Building Event. The chief architect of Simmons Library was Daniel Burnham. He was a genius, and so are you!

Get your team of builders together or a crew of one. Build a castle, library, museum, garage, lighthouse, fire station, sky scraper, stadium, city hall, police station, anything you can dream up. You can bring various building materials or use the ones that we provide. (ie: various size boxes, plastic lids, plastic bottles, cardboard, poster board, foam core) You can glue, staple and tape your creations, but no painting please.
