A Portrait of Daniel Burnham

Historical dramatist R.J. Lindsey, portraying Daniel Burnham, will narrate a slide program detailing the Chicago Fire of 1871, the design of the 1893 World’s Columbian Exhibition, and the Chicago Plan of 1909, Burnham’s development plan for the city. He’ll also speak about the significance of several Burnham designed buildings including the Reliance, Monadnock, Montauck and Rookery.
