Distinguished Speakers Series

Women in Planning and Development 2009 Distinguished Speaker Series will focus on the Burnham Centennial. Working with Jan Metzer, author of “What would Jane say?” we are developing a series that reflects the female perspective of the Burnham Plan. The series will include the following presentations:

  • Winter 2009 (February 9):  Jan Metzer and Adele Simmons, vice-chair, the BUrnham Plan Centennial Commitee
  • Spring 2009: Presentation focused on Open Space
  • Summer 2009: Boat Cruise on Chicago’s First Lady with a focus on Architecture and Commerce
  • Fall 2009 :Presentation focused on Transportation
