Find Your Cause

Find Your Cause

Find Your Cause brings together two prominent groups in Chicago, our non-profits and young professionals, in order to inform and inspire individuals to get involved in the organizations that champion philanthropic action.
For civic-minded professionals this unique event providesand opportunity to learn about dozens of Chicago-based, non-profit organizations in need of volunteers, associate and auxiliary board members, business sponsors and more generally, increased awareness. Whether it be tutoring a student once a month, assisting with a fund raising campaign or taking a leadership role by joining an auxiliary board, this event is sure to connect you to the cause that you are most passionate about!
For non-profit organizations Find Your Cause is a great opportunity to let over 300 young professionals know about and become involved in your work in making Chicago one of the world's best places to live and work.  Non-profits will be provided an exhibit space (table) and should have 1-2 energetic individuals to help promote your cause along with information/ marketing materials (brochures, pamphlets, sign-up sheets, modest signage.)
As an exhibitor, there is no fee to participate; the only requirement is that your organization has a 501C3 tax status. To reserve your exhibit space, or if you have any questions regarding the event, please contact Molly Kelly  at or  312-634-9292 or The cut-off for exhibitor reservations is October 14th.
Tickets for event attendees are just $10 and can be purchased at the door. Tickets include open bar, light hors d'oeuvres, and three hours of open interaction between NFP's and potential volunteers. There will also be guided tours of the Burnham Pavilions in Millennium Park, which are on display through October 31.
The event is hosted by the Chicago Associate Board Presidents Council (CABPC) and supported by Chicago Young Professionals, a civic, social and professional group dedicated to building a better Chicago.
