Plan of Chicago --The Book

The Plan of Chicago: Centennial Edition  released in July will be the focus of this talk and discussion with Donald Whitfield, Director of Higher Education Programs at the Great Books Foundation who served as editor of the publication. 

The reprint, produced from high quality digital scans of an archival copy of the Plan of Chicago, was published by the Great Books Foundation, in partnership with the Burnham Plan Centennial Committee and the Chicago History Museum to again make this classic work available to a broader public.Copies of the book will be available for view and purchase.

Reception (cash bar) at 5:30, presentation at 6:00, with optional dinner following the program. For dinner reservations, call 312-922-8080.
