Exhibit :

Chicago was a much different place one-hundred years ago.  This exhibits, City Planning in the Age of Steam and Streetcars,  focuses on transportation issues and how people who used steam trains and streetcars viewed their city in a different way than today's auto-dependent citizens,  The exhibit ties-in with over a dozen locomotives, "L" cars, streetcars and train cars inthe museum collection that were in Chicago at the same time Burnham and Bennett drafted the Plan of Chicago.
