Good Show Transportation Gallery

Exhibit :

The gallery of children's art, age range Kindergarten through Grade five, changes three times a year. The focus for May 2009, gallery of art work will be trains. Children at each grade level will see art work and posters of trains showing the changes through the last 100 years. Children will create art work depicting trains which will be displayed in the gallery. The museum is directly adjacent to the railroad tracks and Naperville train station and many families use the train to access the museum so this is of particular interest to many of our patrons. Art work will be collected from a number of local schools, mounted and displayed in the main floor gallery along with historical material showing images from the Burnham transportation plan. (May 1-September 13, 2009)
